By using this site you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above tells you when they last changed, and your continued use after a change means you accept it.

Using the site

The site is for your personal, non-commercial use: learning about the resort, making and managing reservations, buying gift cards, and contacting us. You agree not to use it to collect information about other people, to interfere with its operation or security, to copy it with automated tools, or to do anything unlawful. You must be at least 18 to make a reservation or purchase through the site.

Reservations, purchases and prices

Before you confirm a reservation, the booking window shows your rate, the taxes and fees, the guarantee or deposit terms and the cancellation terms for your stay. Those terms form part of your agreement with us, and we send you a confirmation once your reservation is made. Spa, dining, event and membership arrangements have their own terms, which we give you when you book or apply.

Rates and availability shown on the site can change until your reservation is confirmed. If a price is shown in error, we will tell you and give you the choice of paying the correct price or canceling without charge.

Gift cards are sold and redeemed under the terms shown by our gift card provider at the time of purchase.

Accuracy of information

We take care with what we publish, and we update the site often, but descriptions, photographs, hours, menus, schedules and amenities can change. Where it matters to your plans, please check with us. The resort and its owners, affiliates, employees and representatives make no warranty about the completeness or accuracy of the site's content and accept no liability for reliance on it.

Our content

The text, photographs, video, logos, graphics and design on this site belong to Rancho Valencia or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal use. You may not otherwise copy, publish, distribute, modify or create derivative works from them, or remove any copyright or trademark notice, without our written permission. Press and media may request images through our public relations representatives via the Press & Awards page.

What you send us

We welcome your comments, photographs and ideas. By sending them to us, or by tagging us or using our hashtags on social media, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce and display them in connection with the resort, and you confirm you have the right to share them, including the permission of anyone pictured. Please do not send us anything confidential. We may decline to use or remove anything at our discretion.

Other websites and services

The site links to partners such as our booking engine, our gift card provider, our restaurant and spa reservation partners and our Villa owners' site, and it uses tools provided by others, including Google reCAPTCHA (subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service). We are not responsible for the content or practices of other sites or services. Their terms apply when you use them.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the site, how we use it, and your choices, including your right to opt out of the sharing of your information for advertising. It is part of these terms.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rancho Valencia and its owners, affiliates, employees and representatives from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about the site or these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts in San Diego County, California, and you agree to their jurisdiction.
