Tennis Manager
Temo Helenes
Temo learned how to play tennis all over the world, while living in places like Venezuela, Mexico, US and Spain. He played Junior Tennis in South America and Mexico before deciding to train full time out of the Sanchez-Casal Academy in Barcelona Spain, where he trained and competed with some of the top juniors in the world. Later he trained and played out of the Jose Luis Clerc Tennis Academy in Acapulco, Mexico while playing ITF/ATP events. Unfortunately, injuries cut his playing career short, but he eventually attended SDSU to complete his Bachelors in Sustainable Tourism Management. He later went to CSUN to work on a MS degree in Recreation Management and Sustainability. He has vast experience as an Outdoor programs manager, running all types of leadership and outdoor programs for kids and teens all over Southern California.

Prior to arriving at Rancho Valencia, Temo worked as a High School Junior Varsity Tennis Coach for St. Margaret’s Episcopal High as well as the Tennis Pro and Summer Tennis Camp Director at the Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey and at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel where he later became the Resort Experiences Coordinator.  When not playing Tennis, Temo enjoys the great outdoors through rock climbing, mountain biking, and mountaineering.
