Join us for an afternoon to remember with live music and a multi-course, family-style Italian feast prepared by the queen of America’s food scene, Nancy Silverton. In her debut at Rancho Valencia, Nancy’s meal will feature the finest ingredients from San Diego’s own Chino Farms and Taj Farms with exquisite Baja California wines from Italian winemaker Paolo Paolini of Villa Montefiori in Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico.
The only chef to be awarded James Beard Outstanding Chef award as both chef and pastry chef, Nancy rose to the forefront of America’s culinary scene by bringing artisan bread to California with her La Brea Bakery, and using fresh, local ingredients to create a signature brand of “Cal-Ital” with her legendary restaurant Campanile. Today, Nancy is the head of the Los Angeles-based Mozza empire, bringing innovative interpretations of Italian cuisine to four continents from Singapore and Dubai to London and Los Cabos.
